Your Guide to Soul Home Healing
-
A few simple considerations can help you feel comfortable and supported, but however you come through the door—tired, uncertain, emotional, hopeful, or simply curious—you are welcome here.
What to Wear
Please wear whatever helps you feel comfortable and at ease.
Most guests find that soft, comfortable clothing allows them to relax more fully during their session. Depending on the offering you've chosen, you may remain fully clothed throughout our time together.
There is no need to dress a certain way or prepare yourself to look a certain way. Come as you are.
Personal Care
Please arrive feeling clean and comfortable, with consideration for the shared space.
Because some sessions may involve close proximity or nurturing touch, good personal hygiene is appreciated. I also ask that you avoid wearing strong perfumes, colognes, or heavily scented products whenever possible.
Eating & Hydration
You're welcome to eat and drink as you normally would before your session.
There is no special preparation required.
Listen to your body and take care of yourself in whatever way feels right for you.
Forms & Preparing for Your Session
Before your first session, you'll be asked to complete a few forms so I can better understand your needs, preferences, and anything that may be important for me to know before we begin.
Please take your time completing them and answer as honestly as you feel comfortable. There are no right or wrong answers.
The information you share helps create a clearer foundation for our time together—including any preferences, boundaries, accessibility needs, or concerns you may have.
-
Please give yourself a little extra time to park, find your way in, and settle before your session begins. Detailed information regarding the studio’s address, parking, and how to enter will be provided in an email before your appointment.
Parking & Getting Here
There are parking options available nearby, including street parking and metered parking. Please pay close attention to posted signs and parking restrictions, as enforcement in Evanston can be strict.
Parking permits will be available in the entryway of the building.
If you're taking public transportation, there are convenient options nearby as well. More detailed directions will be provided before your visit.
Finding Your Way In
I'll provide clear instructions before your session so you'll know exactly where to go and how to enter. Once you're here, we'll take it from there.
A Note About Accessibility & Comfort
The studio is located on the second floor and requires using stairs. If you have mobility concerns or anything that might affect your comfort getting to the space, please let me know before your appointment. In most cases either remote visits or house calls can be arranged.
-
You may arrive with something specific you'd like to explore, or you may simply sense that something within you is asking for attention.
However your experience unfolds is exactly as it should.
We’ll begin with conversation and take our time. You are always welcome to share what you're feeling, ask questions, request an adjustment, or let me know if something could feel better for you.
Your comfort, autonomy, and boundaries matter.
Nothing is ever expected of you.
You are welcome to say yes, no, not yet, or change your mind at any point during your session. You can ask for more or less conversation, quiet, space, or adjustment.
We'll move at a pace that feels supportive to you.
There Is No "Right" Experience
Every session is different, and every person experiences them differently.
You may notice sensations, emotions, memories, thoughts, or a sense of deep relaxation. You may also simply feel quiet or present.
There is no particular experience you need to have for your time here to matter.
Everything that arises—and everything that doesn't—is welcome.
Communication Is Always Welcome
If you need something, have a question, or simply want to share what's happening for you, please do.
Your feedback helps us create a space that feels safe, supportive, and responsive to your needs.
A Gentle Note About Touch
For sessions that include nurturing or supportive touch, we will discuss mutual boundaries and preferences beforehand.
You will always know what to expect, and your consent matters throughout the entire experience. Either party may pause, adjust, or withdraw consent at any time.
-
There is no right way to feel after a session.
You may leave feeling a subtle shift, deeply moved, or very little at first. You may feel relaxed or energized, or you may simply want peace and quiet.
Give yourself permission to notice what you need.
If possible, allow yourself a little extra patience and grace after your session. You may want to move slowly, spend some time alone, take a walk, rest, journal, or simply allow yourself to be without immediately moving into the next thing.
Sometimes the most meaningful part of a session unfolds in the hours and days that follow.
There is nothing you need to do perfectly afterward. You don't need to interpret, make sense of, or turn your experience into immediate action.
Simply notice.
Integrate what feels meaningful to you, and allow the rest to unfold in its own time.

Here are a few things guests often wonder about.
What if I'm not sure which offering is right for me?
You don't need to know exactly what you need before you arrive.
You can explore the Offerings page to learn more about each type of session. If you're still unsure, you're welcome to reach out. We can talk about what you're looking for and determine which offering may feel like the best place to begin.
What if I'm running late?
If you're running late, please call or text me as soon as you can.
I'll do my best to accommodate you when possible. Depending on the schedule that day, however, your session may need to be shortened so that the following guest isn't affected.
Can I bring a support person?
To protect the privacy, autonomy, and personal nature of your experience, sessions are intended for you alone.
Please do not bring a companion into your session.
How often should I schedule a session?
Some guests may benefit from occasional support during a particular season or transition. Others may prefer ongoing connection over time.
We'll allow your needs, circumstances, and goals to guide what feels appropriate for you. There is never an expectation that you need to schedule at a particular frequency.
What if I've never experienced energy work or intuitive healing before?
That's completely okay.
You don't need any previous experience or special understanding to participate. We'll talk about what to expect and make space for any questions you have before we begin.
You are always welcome to remain curious, skeptical, open, or somewhere in between.
What if I feel nervous or unsure before my session?
That's completely understandable.
Trying something new—or simply allowing yourself to be seen and supported—can bring up uncertainty.
You don't need to arrive feeling relaxed or confident. We can begin exactly where you are.
What if I become emotional during my session?
Becoming emotional is a natural reaction to feeling heard, supported, or giving something your attention. You don't need to apologize for crying, becoming quiet, or having a reaction you didn't expect.
We'll make space for whatever arises and move at a pace that feels supportive to you.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens, and sometimes plans need to change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please let me know as soon as possible. This allows me to adjust the schedule and, when possible, offer the appointment time to someone else.
Please refer to the Cancellation Policy for complete details regarding notice requirements and any applicable fees.

Consent & Personal Autonomy
Your autonomy is central to your experience at Soul Home Healing.
You are always welcome to ask questions, decline an activity, request an adjustment, pause the session, or change your mind.
Consent is ongoing.
Agreeing to something at the beginning of a session does not mean you are required to continue with it. You may withdraw or modify your consent at any time.
You never need to continue with an experience simply because a session has already begun.
Touch & Physical Boundaries Policy
For offerings that include nurturing or supportive touch, boundaries and preferences will be discussed before the session begins.
All touch is:
Platonic and non-sexual
Fully consensual
Conducted with clothing remaining on
Subject to your ongoing comfort and consent
Touch will not occur underneath clothing.
Touch will not involve the breasts, genitals, or other explicitly sexual areas of the body.
You may pause, redirect, or decline touch at any time.
Soul Home Healing is committed to maintaining clear, respectful professional boundaries throughout every session.
Professional Relationship & Boundaries
Soul Home Healing provides a professional wellness service.
While sessions may involve meaningful conversation, emotional connection, compassionate presence, or nurturing touch, the relationship remains professional.
Sessions are not intended to create a friendship, romantic relationship, sexual relationship, or dependency outside the professional relationship.
Clear boundaries help protect the integrity, safety, and purpose of the space for everyone involved.
Respectful Conduct Policy
Soul Home Healing is intended to be a respectful and welcoming environment.
Guests are expected to communicate respectfully and honor the boundaries of the practitioner and the space.
Harassment, sexual behavior, threatening behavior, intimidation, or repeated disregard for boundaries will not be tolerated.
Soul Home Healing reserves the right to pause or end a session if behavior compromises safety, boundaries, or the professional nature of the experience.
Sexualization & Romantic Boundaries
Soul Home Healing does not provide sexual, romantic, or erotic services.
Nurturing touch is offered solely within a clearly defined, platonic, professional context.
Guests are asked to respect these boundaries and understand that expressions of sexual or romantic interest toward the practitioner are not appropriate within the professional relationship.
If a guest's behavior becomes sexualized or repeatedly crosses established boundaries, the session may be ended immediately.
